Dr. Hawes is originally from the Albany, NY area and graduated from Averill Park High School in 2010. She then attended Arcadia University, where she received her B.A. in Biology.
After graduating in 2014, Dr. Hawes began her doctoral studies at The Sage Colleges in Troy, NY. While on clinical, Dr. Hawes was exposed to multiple specialties and settings, including sports rehab and Graston Technique, acute rehab, and pediatrics. Dr. Hawes specializes in pediatric rehabilitation and orthopedics. Dr. Hawes has completed CME Level 1 (Cuevas Medek), under one of the only two instructors in the world who teach this technique. Dr. Hawes incorporates CME with her pediatric patients with varying diagnoses including cerebral palsy (CP), developmental delay, and other neurological and developmental dysfunctions. Dr. Hawes believes in incorporating a full-body approach to therapy while always keeping patient-specific goals in mind. In her free time, Dr. Hawes enjoys traveling, hiking, and using her crockpot.
