Dr. Barnhart is a native of Apalachin, NY; a small town outside the city of Binghamton. Dr. Barnhart sustained an injury during his years as a high school soccer player, an event which would guide him to pursue a career in physical therapy. After graduating from Owego Free Academy in 2010, he went on to earn a B.S. in Biology from Misericordia University and was a Men’s varsity soccer player during this time. Dr. Barnhart then entered a graduate program at the same institution, and successfully graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2016. During his studies, Dr. Barnhart has gained invaluable clinical experience in treating a wide array of conditions. He has treated numerous musculoskeletal injuries, postural dysfunctions, neurologic conditions, and has worked in areas of surgical rehabilitation and amputation.
Dr. Barnhart has developed an interest in muscular pathologies, sport specific injuries/rehabilitation, and postural dysfunctions. He is a big believer in fitness and lifestyle changes, and their positive impact on both our mental and physical health.
